To earn the interest, the following must happen each statement cycle:

  • 20 debit card transactions posted and cleared (point-of-sale, excludes ATM's)
  • Log onto online banking at least once
  • Direct deposit or electronic bank draft posted and cleared
  • Receive E-Statement

Statement cycle ends on the 15th of the month unless it falls on weekend or holiday (cycle ends on Friday if the 15th falls on the weekend or Monday holiday)
  • Free basic checks
  • $5 discount on safe deposit box per year (automatic payment is required)

Account holders under 18 must have an adult joint owner.

At Andrew Johnson Bank's discretion, changes may occur to the qualification requirements and/or the balance tier on this account. Fees may reduce earnings.

Need to increase your card limits?

Any bank employee can handle your request to raise limits on a temporary basis, not to exceed $2,500, so long as the funds are available. There may be circumstances when a higher or lower limit may be selected for individual cards.

However, ATMs operated by other financial institutions may have additional limitations.
